Philippines is an archipelago which means compose of islands. One of those islands is Olanggo. It is located in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu .
It is just a small island yet so peaceful, organize and has a magical hidden beauty of nature. The island is rich in culture and natural wonders.
In Lapu-Lapu, it is known as Wild Sanctuary. Plantae and Animalia Kingdom are protected by the Local Government. You can explore there by visiting different known beaches, restaurants, and sanctuaries. It is good spot for diving and island hopping. One of those attractions are the bird and fish sanctuary where different species are found.
Furthermore, the island celebrate its festival every May where the tide is high. Their festival is very unique where bizarre things happened. They called it "Baliw-baliw Festival". Males organ statue is the main highlight of the festival. Other crazy stuffs will make you wonder, so, just witness and discover it by yourselves. :)
I am interested in visiting the island. I'll do this once we move on our recently bought house in Lapu-lapu City.
